Arbor’s on-site field analysts are team players, working cooperatively with the provider’s staff to analyze all assigned accounts. By helping to resolve all credit balances, field analysts deliver outstanding service and added value. With a strong quality control process, Arbor’s work is accurate and thorough—the first time.
Arbor Healthcare field analysts have superb qualifications. Arbor is the only industry vendor to require on-site employees to become a Certified Patient Account Technician (CPAT), a designation of the American Association of Health Care Administrative Management (AAHAM). The exam requires a working knowledge of all areas of patient accounting. To stay current in their field, the analysts must take the exam periodically to maintain their designation.
We also have established the Arbor Academy for employee training, and all new analysts attend courses specially designed by former analysts before entering the field as an Arbor Healthcare employee. They also are paired with an experienced field analyst as part of a mentoring program. Eager to stay on top of key healthcare issues and contribute to the industry’s development, our analysts participate in leading industry organizations including the Healthcare Financial Management Association and AAHAM.
